RESULT

The original papers must be submitted in the form of a simple abstract, with at least 1000 and at most 2000 characters; the totality of characters in the abstract will include objectives, method, results, conclusion, contributions or implications for Nursing.

The text must be typed without paragraphs, in accordance with the cultural norms of the language in which it was submitted. Do not include figures, tables or charts in the abstract. Abstracts will be accepted in Portuguese, English or Spanish, according to the language of the author’s country of origin.

Papers should be submitted in the form of a simple abstract, with at least 1000 and at most 2000 characters; the totality of characters in the abstract will include objectives, method, results, conclusion, contributions or implications for Nursing.

The text must be typed without paragraphs, in accordance with the cultural norms of the language in which it was submitted. Do not include figures, tables or charts. Abstracts will be accepted in Portuguese, English or Spanish, according to the language of the author’s country of origin.

The full title must be written in a specific field, and in capital letters. The name of the rapporteur must be informed at the time of submission. You should add up to three descriptors (DECs Bireme – http://decs.bvs.br/) and indicate one of the axes or thematic area below:

Axis:

3. Nursing research priority agenda
4. Research for the practice and consolidation of nursing science

Register at the time of submission the professional category, title, position or function of the authors, institution of origin and a valid e-mail address of the reporter for contact. It is mandatory that the paper’s rapporteur is registered at the event so that the submitted paper is accepted for presentation. To take advantage of discounts on enrollment, the rapporteur enrolled in the ABEn Associate category must send the scanned receipt, in pdf or jpeg format, of the 2021 annuity discharge, along with the abstract.

Each rapporteur may submit a maximum of two papers.

Criteria for the evaluation of abstracts

In addition to the requirements for preparing the listed abstracts, the evaluation process will follow the following rules:

  1. the content of the abstract must be relevant to the central theme of the 21st SENPE/2nd.SINPE and be related to the chosen thematic area;
  2. the content must present theoretical and methodological coherence;
  3. there must be a logical sequence between the parts, making the entire text consistent and understandable for the reader;
  4. the abstract must be written in a clear, coherent and concise manner.

Types of scientific papers

The rapporteur must choose the form of presentation of the work: poster, coordinated communication and free theme for award. However, the Themes Subcommittee may redirect the form of presentation of the selected works, according to peer evaluation criteria of scientific merit. To facilitate the organization and distribution of papers registered in the Coordinated Communication and Poster modalities, according to the related areas, the authors must choose the subject area and indicate it in the registration form.

  1. Coordinated communication:

In this type, the maximum number of authors is 5 (five). Papers authored by undergraduate students must have at least one professional in the list of authors.

In the coordinated communication type, presentations will be organized with related themes. The presentation time will be up to 10 minutes, with an additional 05 minutes being reserved for questions from the public. This type is exclusively intended for the presentation of theses, dissertations and completed research reports, which are related to the themes of the 21st SENPE/2nd SINPE. The papers will be presented in oral, virtual form, according to a specific presentation schedule and access to the broadcast rooms to be published.

  1. E-Poster (electronic poster)

In this type, the maximum number of authors is 5 (five). Papers authored by undergraduate students must have at least one professional in the list of authors.

This type is intended for the presentation of conclusion papers (scientific initiation, graduation, post-graduation – residency and/or lato sensu), as well as papers of the experience report type, literature review and case study, classified according to or axes or thematic areas of the 21st SENPE/2nd SINPE. Posters must be produced strictly within the following rules:

  • Use Power Point (PPT) file format, in a single slide.
  • Page size: 14cm x 25cm (width x height);
  • Page Orientation: Portrait;
  • Font type and font size: Times New Roman, min.
  • It is allowed to use images and graphics.

The specific template will be provided on the event’s website.

The posters will be displayed for online visitation, but there will be no online presentation by the reporter Important: the delivery of the electronic poster is the responsibility of the reporter and according to guidelines to be posted on the event website. The event organizers will not be responsible for papers that are delivered after the deadline or prepared outside the established norms.

This type is intended for scientific works that will compete for the prizes offered in the 21st SENPE/2nd SINPE.

To compete for one of the awards, the author/rapporteur must be registered in the 21st SENPE/2nd SINPE.

The submitted work must be unpublished, attested by its authors, and compete solely and specifically for one of the prizes offered in the 21st SENPE/2nd SINPE.

IMPORTANT: Papers submitted that do not fall within the scope of the award will be disregarded for competition and authors may, by their own decision, submit the abstract for analysis and presentation at the event.

The submitted paper must be prepared in compliance with the standards of the Brazilian Journal of Nursing (REBEn), available at <http://www.scielo.br/revistas/reben/pinstruc.htm>.

After submission, papers will be evaluated in two rounds.

A – The evaluation of the first round will result in recommended papers andnot recommended, being offered the form of e-poster presentation for non-recommended.

B- The evaluation of those recommended in the second round will result in the classification of the works to be awarded (or not), being the form of presentation modality coordinated communication.

The presentation (e-poster or coordinated communication) will follow the rules of each modality and will have a schedule published in the website event, after completion of the rounds of evaluations by the awards committee.

As a condition for receiving the award, the paper must be presented by the rapporteur.

The award of the paper does not guarantee publication in REBEn.

In these types, only proposals from professionals will be accepted.

In the types of symposia and panels, interested parties must submit an abstract (minimum of 100 and maximum of 2000 characters). The title (maximum of 200 characters), objectives, systematic of development of the proposed activity, expected results, responsible for the realization, names of the participants (limit of 4 people, including the moderator) and target audience.

The activity time cannot exceed 2 hours. This(these) modality(s) is intended, exclusively, for the presentation of researches with innovative methodologies, innovative theoretical conceptions and theoretical essays built from research results; all must keep a close relationship with the thematic axes of the 21st SENPE/2nd SINPE. All participants in these modalities must be registered for the event.

The scientific committee will issue the acceptance, after evaluating the proposal.

Thematic, Network and Interest Group Meetings

The meetings must deal with the central theme of the 21st SENPE/2nd SINPE or be related to teaching, extension, research and work in health and nursing. Proponents and participants must be registered at the 21st SENPE/2nd SINPE. The Themes Subcommittee will analyze the requests, decide on their acceptance and notify the author in the event of acceptance. To complete the registration, the applicant must complete the form with the following data: Titles of the Network, Group, Laboratory, Proposing Department (maximum 16 words); Objectives of the meeting; Full name of the person(s) responsible for carrying out the activity; Target Audience. The dates, times and locations of the meetings will be published in the latest version of the event’s schedule, which will be available on the website.

COMMENTS

1. The Themes Subcommittee will only evaluate papers and proposals for activities that comply with the standards.
2. Every paper, after being submitted to the Subcommittee, cannot be altered. So be careful when attaching your file! Check that it really is the correct file to be attached to the system.
